The NEVE is a high performances central impression printing press designed using modern CAD stations and entirely produced with NC machines tool in the Bonardi factory. The NEVE represents the "father" of an entire family of high quality flexo presses with a large number of standard features. The NEVE family includes 6 & 8 colours presses with various central drum diameters, in order to generate a maximum flexo repeat of 800, 1000, or 1200 mm.

Although surrounded by attractive Italian-style guards, the machine is very operator friendly and job change-over and servicing is very easily and quick achieved. Four electric synchronised hoists are provided to enable two operators to work simultaneously on either side of the machine. There is a retractable ladder to reach the overhead platform to facilitate web thread-in and servicing.
The machine can be supplied with driven idler rollers in the case of low gauge and/or temperature sensitive webs.

The jiant printing section in the version with central drum diameter of 2300 mm and max. repeat of 1000 mm. There are two motors for each deck for fast in/out racking according to the present repeat length. This one gives a precise distance from the impression setting. Very fine tunning is achieved by the use of preloaded ball bearing screws with micrometric reductions. There is hydraulic locking at two preset pressure levels. Quick changeover of printing cylinders and anilox rollers is achieved without the use of tools, due to swing-out housing. The Bull gear is manufactured with a cast iron core and has an external steel forged toothed ring. The double walled central impression drum is chrome plated and ground to a mirror-like finish and the T.I.R. is better than 8 microns.
